For anyone who does not know, Holden is GM's Australian division, like Vauxhall in the UK. The Holden EK was built as a facelift for the previous FB model. The EK was produced from May 1961 to July 1962, with a total of about 150,000 vehicles produced. My Holden is a "Standard" model, with 3-speed column shift manual and basic 138 cu-in straight six, but it did have many desirable factory options and accessories, including a heater, two-tone interior trim, trailer hitch, a ribbed aluminum valve cover, chrome air filter, and a chrome breather. The Silverton Grey paint color was not a popular option, but definitely suits the car well. What makes this car special, however, is that it is not in Australia; it has come all the way to New Jersey, and is one of just two EK Utes in the whole country to my knowledge.
