My 2006 Yamaha VX. It's a hunk of garbage, never ever buy one. Still, with a few little doodads and the right conditions it can put up some decent speeds. Fun, efficient, and a 4cyl that loves to rev. Engine easily revs to 8,000 rpm under load and can boost to over 10,000 rpm for short periods of time. Lightweight craft plus high revs equals tons of fun. Not the fastest craft on the river because I never put a blower on the engine, but good sponsons, a chip, and an intake grate on the jet pump, she can accelerate with the best.
Strapped my GoPro to the hood of the Yami, trimmed up the pump, and held on tight.
Chased my cousin (riding a Yamaha XL700) down a flooded creek. Great times! The squawking noise at :47 is a loon, I nearly hit it! Sorry about the shaky vid, my GoPro was dead and all I had was my iPhone.
