This 1982 Fiat Spider belonged to my husband's father, who was the second owner of the car, having purchased it in 1985. He and the rest of my husband's family enjoyed "Charlotte" until the early 1990s. Since Fiat had left the North American market in 1983, and weren't exactly known for their high-quality vehicles, finding parts was just too hard, so she went into storage until late summer of 2012.

Charlotte is currently my project. The body needs some love. The paint is oxidized. The chrome needs refinished. The leather needs cleaned. But she starts! And with a little love, she will run consistently. She was up and running from April-August 2013 before her age caught up to her and a few more wear-out parts need replaced.
